SUR-SIZE FG-250 Cut-to-Length Blister Module

Creating a way to provide different-size blister cards without the need for extra tooling or change-overs, the SUR-SIZE FG-250 is a cut-to-length module unit that easily integrates with any blister machine. Material enters the unit as a continuous web, and shear cut slitters slit the material to the proper width. The side trim can be removed. An optic sensor tracks the blister so cross-cuts are in the proper location.

Fitted with shear-cut knife assemblies, the system achieves precise cutting of blisters, ensuring consistent quality and accurate sizing. Slitters can be slid along their track to get the exact width needed and users then enter the number of blisters for cutoff. 

The unit is free-standing—users just place it into position, plug it into a 110 to 220V AC outlet, and connect an airline. The assembly integrates with both new and existing equipment without needing machine modifications. Clear safety covers are included to enable product flow through the knife assembly while maintaining a safe working environment. An integrated light tower provides visual and audible alerts.

All components are mounted on a 0.5-in. 12.7 mm thick aluminum plate, reinforced by an adjustable equipment stand with a hand crank for added convenience and stability.
