TopWorx PD Series Smart Valve Positioner
Description
Designed to operate in a range of environmental conditions, the TopWorx PD Series Smart Valve Positioner provides 100% control over valve position and integrates communication via a 4-20 mA loop signal and HART protocols. Users are able to extract valuable feedback and can monitor for trends that offer predictive maintenance insights.
The PD Series uses Hall effect contactless position detection. Two PNP alarms that can be configured throughout the full displacement range help improve plant productivity and safety.
The compact package allows for a high degree of versatility and allows for quick installation on rotary and linear actuators in many applications. The same solution can provide precision control on both single and double-acting actuators. There is an LCD screen to access device status and optional magnetic key technology that allows operators to set all function of the device without removing the cover in the field.
As a solution for a variety of conditions, the PD100 is for general purpose applications while the PD200 is for use in explosive atmospheres. It is suitable for oil & gas, chemical, industrial energy, on-site utilities, power generation, pulp and paper, waste and wastewater, and food & beverage applications.
