Multi-Function OTDR

Expanding fiber optic testing equipment, the Multi-Function OTDR (OTDR-1000) is the ideal hand-held device for evaluating FTTx (fiber to the X-location) and accessing network construction and maintenance. This all-in-one device also helps identify breakpoints, measure cable length, and calculate relative optical power losses.

The OTDR features a 3.5 in. (8.9 cm) color LCD screen and includes eight functions for testing and evaluating fiber and network cables: OTDR, event map, optical power meter, visual fault locator, optical light source, cable length measurement, cable tracker, and RJ45 sequence tester.

The event map on this device provides a simplified view of each mapped event with loss values for each component. It also has a rubberized hard plastic case that is shock and drop-proof, a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery, 600 MB internal storage, a card slot for additional memory, and can be connected to computers for data transfer.
