Description
One Size Fits All (1SFA)/Plug & Play (PNP) series of smart meters kills two birds with one stone. Able to reduce spare inventory by at least 50% and combat instrumentational obsolescence at the same time, the PNP series aims to change how I&C rooms approach digitization.
With versatility at the core of these meters, the PNP series uses a universal I/O module that can accommodate up to four signal conditioners and over 50 input signals, enabling users to replace any meter in a control room regardless of size, shape or function. Inserted into a cylindrical Hub unit, this universal I/O module then plugs into the back panel of any instrument by way of unique adapter plates that ensure the PNP meter serves as a drop-in replacement without any change to the surrounding panel or wiring. This versatility eliminates the need for multiple spares, as a single unit can provide support for a plethora of meters functioning in the control room.
Serviceable to nearly any application, the PNP series is available in nuclear, mil-spec, and industrial grades.
